Created as a commission for the University of Aberdeen NORTH theme, A Deciduous Tree and a Conifer Borrowed from Nasmyth, takes as its starting point a small canvas of King’s College, Aberdeen by Alexander Nasmyth (1758–1840) (or by his studio and assistants) held in the University’s collection.
